WILD WEST CHESS TOURNAMENT
"Saratoga Resort and Spa is proud to announce they will be holding their first ever Wild West Chess Tournament! The tournament will be held at the Saratoga Resort & Spa on July 31st through August 1st. People of all ages and skill level are welcome to take part in this event. The tournament will be a 4-round event with multiple sections based on ratings. Players will play in their section, but can play in higher sections if they choose. The time control for this tournament will be game in 90 minutes per player per round. Each round will last approximately 3 hours, 15 minutes. There will be 2 rounds played on Saturday, July 31st and 2 rounds on Sunday, August 1st.
This is a chess vacation for the whole family! The Saratoga Resort & Spa offers numerous activities, including a spa, golf course, hot springs, sport court, restaurant, microbrewery and more! There will be plenty of fun activities for family members not participating in the chess tournament as well as players looking for something to do between rounds.
